Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough lies inland of the Kimberley coast with the southern tail
extending over the Interior and moving east as a ridge builds from the
southwest. A broad trough returns to the Pilbara coast on Monday as the ridge
moves south of the State. The trough slowly moves east from late Monday into
Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front moves east across the South West Land Division today as a trough
moves across the southern Goldfields. A new ridge moves over the southwest on
Sunday as a trough develops, moving east late Monday into Tuesday as a cold
front passes to the south of the State.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 19 September
Showers over the South West Land Division, contracting to coastal parts between
Perth and Bremer Bay by evening. Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over the
western Eucla, southern and eastern Goldfields, southern South Interior and
eastern parts of the South East Coastal district. Possible afternoon and early
evening showers about the north and west Kimberley. Windy across southern parts
of the state.

Forecast for Sunday 20 September
Light showers and drizzle south of a line from Eneabba to Israelite Bay. Chance
of a shower or thunderstorm in the South Interior. Afternoon and early evening
showers possible about the north Kimberley. Chance of morning fog through
inland parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 21 September
Light showers and drizzle southwest of a line from Mandurah to Bremer Bay.
Possible showers and thunderstorms over the South Interior, Goldfields and
adjacent inland Gascoyne. Chance of an afternoon shower over the north and west
Kimberley. Possible morning fog over western parts of the South West Land
Division and the Eucla.

Forecast for Tuesday 22 September
Showers over southern and central parts of the South West Land Division.
Showers and isolated thunderstorms across the South Interior, Goldfields,
adjacent inland Gascoyne, Eucla and far eastern parts of the South West Land
Division. Chance of an afternoon shower over the north and west Kimberley.
Possible morning fog over inland western parts of the South West Land Division
and the north Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 23 September
Showers over southern and central parts of the South West Land Division.
Showers and isolated thunderstorms across the South Interior, Goldfields,
adjacent inland Gascoyne, Eucla and far eastern parts of the South West Land
Division. Chance of an afternoon shower near the north and west Kimberley coast.
