Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the Pilbara today. Saturday, the trough becomes mobile and
moves east over the interior, while a weak ridge builds over the west. In the
new week a trough forms along the Pilbara coast.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough will cross the Gascoyne today while a cold front crosses the Southwest
Land Division, reaching the Eucla Saturday evening. A trough will form over
southern WA Monday ahead of a couple of next cold front which is poised to
brush the southern early next week.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 18 September
Showers over the South West Land Division, southern Gascoyne and southwest
Goldfields, more widespread about southwestern parts of the South West Land
Division. Chance of a thunderstorm, mainly afternoon and evening, near the west
coast south of Mandurah and over eastern parts of the South West Land Division
and adjacent Goldfields. Possible afternoon showers over the far north
Kimberley. Hot through inland Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and eastern South
West Land Division, but tending milder about the west coast. Windy through
western Gascoyne.

Forecast for Saturday 19 September
Showers over the South West Land Division and far southern Gascoyne,
contracting to coastal parts between Perth and Bremer Bay by evening. Chance of
a shower or thunderstorm over western Eucla, southern and eastern Goldfields
and adjacent South Interior. Chance of a early gusty thunderstorm about the
southwest coast and adjacent inland areas. Possible afternoon and early evening
showers about the north and west Kimberley. Hot through the Interior, Eucla and
western Goldfields but tending milder in the western Goldfields, southern and
western Gascoyne and eastern South West Land Division. Windy through southern
parts of the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields, Eucla and Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 20 September
Light showers and drizzle south of a line from Eneabba to Israelite Bay. Chance
of a shower or thunderstorm in the South Interior. Afternoon and early evening
showers possible about the north and northwest Kimberley. Tending milder in the
Eucla and adjacent Interior. Chance of morning fog through inland parts of the
South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 21 September
Light showers and drizzle southwest of a line from Mandurah to Bremer Bay.
Possible showers and thunderstorms in the South Interior, Goldfields and
adjacent inland Gascoyne. Chance of an afternoon shower over the north and west
Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 22 September
Showers over southern and central parts of the South West Land Division.
Showers and isolated thunderstorms across the South Interior, Goldfields,
adjacent inland Gascoyne, Eucla and eastern parts of South East Coastal
district. Chance of an afternoon shower over the north and west Kimberley.
Chance of morning fog through inland parts of the South West Land Division and
north Kimberley.
