Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough across the Kimberley and Interior will move closer to the Pilbara
and Kimberley west coasts on Monday as a ridge develops through central
Australia.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weakening cold front is moving east across southern WA today, and will be
followed by another weak front on Sunday night along the southwest coast. A
trough over the Goldfields and Interior will move west across the South West
Land Division and Gascoyne on Monday as a high strengthens in the Bight,
reaching the west coast on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 12 September
Light showers over the Central West, northern and eastern parts of Central
Wheat Belt and South East Coastal district, clearing in the late afternoon.
Chance of a shower or gusty thunderstorm over the southern Interior, southeast
Goldfields and Eucla. Afternoon showers over the north Kimberley. Windy over
southern districts, southern Goldfields and South Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 13 September
Light showers southwest of Yanchep to Bremer Bay. Chance of a shower or gusty
thunderstorm, mainly in the afternoon and evening, over the South Interior, far
eastern Goldfields and eastern Eucla. Afternoon shower over the north
Kimberley. Morning fog possible over the north Kimberley, Central West,
adjacent Central Wheat Belt and South East Coastal districts. Chance of morning
frost over Central Wheat Belt.

Forecast for Monday 14 September
Light showers or drizzle over southern districts of the South West Land
Division. Showers and the chance of thunderstorms over the South Interior,
Eucla, Goldfields, southeast Gascoyne, and northeastern parts of the Central
Wheat Belt. Possible heavy falls over northern Goldfields. An afternoon shower
possible over the north Kimberley. Morning fog possible about inland southern
and western parts of the South West Land Division, and the north Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 15 September
Showers and the chance of thunderstorms over northern and central parts of the
South West Land Division, Goldfields, central and southern Interior, inland
Gascoyne, southeast Pilbara and inland Eucla. Possible heavy falls over
northern Goldfields. An afternoon shower over the north and northwest
Kimberley. Windy across the state in the area south of north Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 16 September
Showers and the chance of thunderstorms over northern parts of Central Wheat
Belt, northern and central Goldfields, western parts of South Interior, inland
Gascoyne and western Pilbara. Light showers possible over remainder of northern
and western parts of the South West Land Division. An afternoon shower over the
north and west Kimberley. Morning fog possible about coastal Gascoyne. Windy
across the state in the area south of north Kimberley.
