Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough is developing near the west Pilbara coast. Associated cloud band will
bring unseasonal rains to western Pilbara from Monday till Wednesday. An
easterly flow will continue over rest of the area this week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system moves east across southern WA today, followed by a
trough approaching the west coast on Monday in association with a cloud band.
The trough will move across the South West Land Division and Gascoyne on
Tuesday, ahead of a cold front along the south coast. Another weak front will
brush past the southwest coast, as a weak ridge briefly forms over inland
southern WA on Wednesday before weakening on Thursday ahead of the next cold
front.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 2 August
Chance of a light shower over the far southwest Pilbara later in the evening.

Forecast for Monday 3 August
Showers developing over western Pilbara, Gascoyne, northern parts of the South
West Land Division and western Goldfields. Showers developing in the evening
over western districts of the South West Land Division, with chance of a
thunderstorm near the west coast south of Geraldton. Morning frost over eastern
parts of South West Land Division, Eucla and southern Goldfields. Windy at
times over southern Gascoyne, eastern Pilbara and southwest Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 4 August
Areas of rain and showers over the South West Land Division, Gascoyne,
Goldfields, western Pilbara, western parts of South Interior and Eucla. Chance
of a thunderstorm over the Central West, Lower West, South West, northwest
Gascoyne and southwest Pilbara districts. Heavy falls possible over the far
southwest Pilbara and northwest Gascoyne. Windy along the southwest coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 5 August
Showers over southern Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla, southern parts of
South Interior, and western and southern parts of the South West Land Division.
Light showers and drizzle possible in the morning across inland South West Land
Division. Chance of morning fog over inland South West Land Division and
southwest Goldfields.

Forecast for Thursday 6 August
Showers with chance of a thunderstorm over Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla,
southern parts of South Interior, and western and northern parts of the South
West Land Division. Light shower or drizzle possible over the remainder of the
South West Land Division. Chance of morning frost over eastern parts of the
South West Land Division. Windy along the southwest coast.
