Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge to the south maintains moderate to fresh east to southeasterly winds
over the region.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system in the Bight extends a ridge over southern WA. The high
will move east and ridge will weaken on Friday ahead of the next cold front
reaching the southwest of the state later Friday. The cold front will move
along the south coast during Saturday with a ridge rapidly developing in it’s
wake.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 29 July
Light shower about the Eucla coast, mostly clearing in the evening.

Forecast for Thursday 30 July
Chance of a shower over the South West Capes. Patchy morning frost over the
central and inland southern South West Land Division, Goldfields, inland
western Eucla and South Interior. Windy morning over the northern parts of the
state.

Forecast for Friday 31 July
Showers developing about the South West Capes during the morning, extending to
southwest of a line Bunbury to Albany during the afternoon and southwest of
Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay during the evening. The chance of a thunderstorm about
the South West Capes and adjacent inland parts. Patchy morning frost over the
eastern South West Land Division, southern Goldfields, inland western Eucla and
South Interior. Windy morning over the northern parts of the state.

Forecast for Saturday 1 August
Showers southwest of a line Geraldton to Corrigin to Israelite Bay, mostly
about coastal parts. Chance of a light shower over remaining parts southwest of
a line Kalbarri to Merredin to Caiguna. Showers contracting to coastal parts
between Bremer Bay to Caiguna in the afternoon. Patchy morning frost over
western and central eastern parts of the South Interior. Possible morning fog
over the inland northern South West Land Division and adjacent southwest
Gascoyne. Windy about the south coast.

Forecast for Sunday 2 August
Mostly sunny day. Patchy morning frost and possible morning fog over central
and inland southern parts of the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields
and inland western Eucla.
