Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
East to southeasterly winds strengthen across the north from today as a ridge
builds over southern Western Australia.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure centre over waters west of the state extends a ridge over
southern WA. The ridge will persist over the region for the remainder of the
week as the high pressure centre slowly moves east. A cold front will then
cross southwestern parts during late Saturday into Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 22 July
Chance of light showers over south coastal districts. Windy over northern and
central parts.

Forecast for Thursday 23 July
Chance of light showers over the eastern South West Land Division, southern
Goldfields, southern South Interior and Eucla, clearing later in the day.
Patchy morning fog and frosts over southern and central parts of the South West
Land Division, southern Goldfields and western Eucla. Windy over northern and
central parts.

Forecast for Friday 24 July
Chance of a light shower about the eastern Eucla coast. Patchy morning fog and
frosts over the inland southern and central South West Land Division, southern
Goldfields and Eucla. Windy over northern and central parts.

Forecast for Saturday 25 July
Showers developing southwest of Mandurah to Albany during the morning,
extending to Lancelin to Hopetoun by late evening. Early frost possible over
the inland eastern and central South West Land Division, Goldfields, west
Eucla, and South Interior. Windy over northern and central parts.

Forecast for Sunday 26 July
Showers southwest of a line from Geraldton to Israelite Bay. Chance of showers
over remaining parts of the South West Land Division, southwest Goldfields, and
western Eucla. Morning frost over the South Interior, far east Gascoyne, and
northern Goldfields. Windy over northern parts in the morning.
