Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge over central Australia maintains a moderate east to southeasterly flow
over most of the north. Winds freshen mid next week as a new ridge develops to
the south and strengthens.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is pushing over the west coast with a weak cold front moving along the
south coast south of the ridge later Monday into Tuesday. The ridge will then
move south and strengthen in the wake of the cold front.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 19 July
Showers southwest of a Jurien Bay to Cunderdin to Bremer Bay, contacting to
coastal parts later afternoon and evening. Showers also northeast of a line
Shark Bay to Israelite Bay but southwest of Carnarvon to Caiguna, gradually
easing during the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Monday 20 July
Showers about coastal parts between Jurien Bay to Albany, extending to
southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Esperance for a period during the day.
Showers also northeast of Shark Bay to Balladonia but southwest of Coral Bay to
Eyre, mostly clearing in the evening. Patchy morning fog over much of the South
West Land Division, southern and eastern Goldfields, and Eucla. Possible early
morning frost over the far southwest Goldfields and inland central parts of the
South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 21 July
Light showers about west coastal parts south of Jurien Bay and along the south
coast, with the chance of a shower over remaining parts southwest of Jurien Bay
to Esperance during the day. Patchy morning fog over much of the South West
Land Division and far southwest Goldfields. Possible morning frost over the
central and northeastern South West Land Division and southern Goldfields.

Forecast for Wednesday 22 July
Light coastal showers between Cape Naturaliste and Caiguna. Patchy morning fog
and frosts over southern and central parts of the South West Land Division,
southern Goldfields and western Eucla. Windy over northern and central parts.

Forecast for Thursday 23 July
Showers about the Eucla coast, clearing during the afternoon. Patchy morning
fog and frosts over southern and central parts of the South West Land Division,
southern Goldfields and western Eucla. Windy over northern and central parts.
