Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge will begin to extend across the Gascoyne and western Pilbara on
Tuesday, extending east and then moving south from Thursday.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front is moving over southeast WA on Tuesday with a low pressure system
tracking south of the state. Another weak front will brush the south coast
during Wednesday before a ridge extends across southern parts of the state from
Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 30 June
Showers over the South West Land Division, Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla,
southern Interior and far western Pilbara. Gusty thunderstorms possible along
the coasts of the South West Land Division and Eucla, extending over the
Southeast Coastal district and southern Goldfields. Windy about central and
southern parts of the state
Forecast for Wednesday 1 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, more likely about the coast.
Possible shower over the far southern Gascoyne, southern Goldfields and Eucla.
Possible morning fog across the southern Gascoyne and far northern parts of the
South West Land Division. Windy across southern coastal districts.
Forecast for Thursday 2 July
Showers about the south coast and along the west coast south of Shark Bay.
Chance of a shower over remaining parts of the South West Land Division, the
southern Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla. Possible morning fog over the
southwest Gascoyne and inland northern Central West.
Forecast for Friday 3 July
Showers about the south coast with the chance of a shower extending to inland
southern parts of the South West Land Division, the Eucla and southern
Goldfields. Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm over the central Interior
and far eastern Pilbara. Possible morning fog over inland parts of the South
West, South Coastal and Great Southern districts. Windy morning across the
eastern Pilbara and North Interior.
Forecast for Saturday 4 July
Light showers about the south coast east of Albany, with the chance of a shower
for the southern Goldfields, Eucla and South East Coastal districts. Showers
and the chance of a thunderstorm for the central Interior and southeast
Kimberley. Possible morning fog over inland parts of the South East Coastal
district.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 1:45 am WST Wednesday.
