Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge over the north of the State will weaken on Friday as a cold front
crosses the west coast. A trough will pass through the Pilbara from west to
east during Saturday, followed by a weak ridge extending into the region on
Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge over southern and central WA is weakening. A cold front will cross the
west coast on Friday, continuing eastward through the Goldfields and Eucla on
Saturday. A deep low will move south of the State during the weekend as a weak
ridge extends across the west coast on Sunday and Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 25 June
Cloud increasing across the South West with showers developing from the west in
the late afternoon and evening. Becoming windy about the southwest coast.
Mostly clear skies across the remainder of the State.

Forecast for Friday 26 June
Rain and showers extending over the South West Land Division and western and
southern parts of the Goldfields and Gascoyne. Possible late showers over
western parts of the Pilbara and Eucla. Gusty thunderstorms possible across the
South West and coastal parts of the Lower West and Central West. Windy across
much of the South West Land Division and Gascoyne. Becoming very windy late in
the day about the South West coast.

Forecast for Saturday 27 June
Showers southwest of a line from Port Hedland to Warburton, heaviest and most
widespread across southern and western parts of the South West Land Division.
Chance of gusty thunderstorms southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Bremer
Bay, most likely about the western south coast. of Jurien Bay to Albany. Windy
across southern and western parts of the State.

Forecast for Sunday 28 June
Showers south of a line from Bidyadanga to Giles, most frequent through coastal
parts of the South West Land Division. Showers contracting to the coastal
districts and eastern South Interior by late in the day. Isolated light showers
over the Pilbara, central Interior and remaining northern Gascoyne. Chance of
thunderstorms along the south coast between Windy Harbour and Bremer Bay, and
from the southern South Interior to the eastern Eucla. Windy across the lower
west coast and south coast.

Forecast for Monday 29 June
Showers south and west of a line from Coral Bay to Meekatharra to Eyre, most
widespread about the western south coast and west coast districts. Possible
early fog over the inland Central West and adjacent Gascoyne. Breezy conditions
about the south coast and lower west coast.
