Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge extending through the Kimberley will gradually weaken over the weekend.
A trough over the central Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne and Southern Interior
moves east during during the next few days, as an associated cloud band brings
unseasonal rain to the Pilbara and Interior.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak high pressure system lays over much of the State. A cold front moves
through most of the South West Land Division during Sunday. Another ridge will
extend over central parts of the State on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 13 June
Light showers near the Southwest Capes, extending to the South West district
and along the southern coast of the Lower West during the remainder of the day.
Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm over the Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne
and western Interior. Windy about the southwest coast in the afternoon and
evening.

Forecast for Sunday 14 June
Showers southwest of a line Kalbarri to Ravensthorpe, northeast Central Wheat
Belt, Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, southern and western Interior, and
Eucla. Chance of a thunderstorm near the west and southwest coasts, southern
and western Interior, far northeast Gascoyne and central Pilbara. Morning frost
possible through the Central Wheat Belt, eastern Great Southern, southwest
Goldfields and inland South East Coastal district. Possible morning fog over
the northwest Pilbara.

Forecast for Monday 15 June
Showers over the South West Land Division, Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields,
southern and central Interior, and Eucla, clearing over the southern and
western Gascoyne and inland parts of the South West Land Division during the
afternoon and evening. Possible small hail over far southwestern parts of the
state. Chance of a thunderstorm over the South Interior, far eastern
Goldfields, eastern Eucla and along the south coast. Morning fog and frost
possible through inland southwestern parts of the South West Land Division.
Possible morning fog near the west Kimberley coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 16 June
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division, along the west
coast, southern Goldfields, Eucla and Interior. Possible small hail over the
South West, South Coastal, and Great Southern districts. Chance of a
thunderstorm along the Esperance coast, Eucla, and South Interior. Morning
frost possible over much of the inland South West Land Division and southwest
Goldfields. Possible morning fog over northwestern parts of the Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 17 June
Showers over southern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division, along
the west coast south of Geraldton, Goldfields, Eucla and Interior. Chance of a
thunderstorm over the eastern South Interior. Morning frost possible over much
of the inland South West Land Division and northern Goldfields.
