Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge extends into the Kimberley and east Pilbara with a weak trough lying
near the Pilbara coast. Another weak trough will extend from the inland Pilbara
southward into the Goldfields during the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high over southern WA will move eastward to reach New South Wales and
Victoria by the weekend. A weak trough will move across the west coast during
Friday, settling over the Goldfields during the weekend. The next cold front
will reach the southwest corner of the State on Sunday night or Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 4 June
Light showers possible near the south and Eucla coasts.

Forecast for Friday 5 June
Possible light showers about the Eucla coast. Showers also possible over the
southern Gascoyne, Goldfields and northern Central Wheat Belt and Central West
districts. Chance of morning frost over inland parts of the South West Land
Division and southern Goldfields. Possible morning fog over the Eucla, eastern
South East Coastal district, far northwest Gascoyne and northwest Kimberley.

Forecast for Saturday 6 June
Possible showers over the Central West, northern Lower West, southern and
western Gascoyne, Goldfields and southwest South Interior. Chance of isolated
early morning frost over the far western Great Southern and adjacent South West
district.

Forecast for Sunday 7 June
Showers developing later near the west coast. Possible morning fog over the
western South West Land Division and southwest Gascoyne.

Forecast for Monday 8 June
Showers extending over the South West Land Division, southwestern Gascoyne, far
western Pilbara, southwestern Goldfields, and Eucla during the day. Chance of a
thunderstorm over the Central West, Lower West, and South West districts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 1:45 am WST Friday.
