Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge will persist over the Northern Districts during the week.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak ridge will sit over southern and central districts this week.
Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 2 June
Light showers over the South West Land Division, Eucla coast, southwestern
Gascoyne, and southwestern Goldfields, more likely about the south coast.
Forecast for Wednesday 3 June
Light showers over the western and southern parts of the South West Land
Division and Eucla coast. Chance of a light shower over the central Pilbara.
Morning fog possible over much of the inland South West Land Division, southern
Gascoyne, western Goldfields and the far northwest Kimberley. Possible isolated
early morning frost over the eastern and southern Central Wheat Belt, northern
Great Southern and western Goldfields.
Forecast for Thursday 4 June
Showers possible over the southwest and south coasts and the central Pilbara.
Morning fog possible over the Lower West, South West and Great Southern
districts and also the far northwest Kimberley. Early morning frost more likely
over the Central Wheat Belt, Great Southern and southwest Goldfields.
Forecast for Friday 5 June
Possible showers about the southwest and Eucla coasts. Showers also possible
over the southern Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and northern Central Wheat Belt
and Central West districts. Chance of morning frost over inland parts of the
South West Land Division and southern Goldfields. Possible morning fog about
inland parts of the southern districts.
Forecast for Saturday 6 June
Possible showers over the southeast Gascoyne, Goldfields and southwest South
Interior. Chance of isolated early morning frost over the far western Central
Wheat Belt and adjacent South West district.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 1:45 am WST Wednesday.
