Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough continues to move east through the interior as a new ridge forms in
behind. The ridge will persist over the Northern Districts during the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep low pressure system is now situated in the Bight ahead of another weaker
cold front that will approach the South West Land Division on Tuesday. A new
ridge will lie over central to southern parts of state in the wake of the cold
front.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 1 June
Showers over the western and southern Gascoyne, South West Land Division,
southern Goldfields, Eucla and parts of the Southern Interior. Chance of a
shower over the eastern Pilbara. Very windy over southeastern districts, windy
over central parts.

Forecast for Tuesday 2 June
Showers over the South West Land Division, Eucla coast, southwestern Gascoyne,
and southwestern Goldfields, more likely about the west and south coasts.
Morning fog over the southern Gascoyne, northwest Kimberley, northeast Pilbara
and far west Goldfields.

Forecast for Wednesday 3 June
Showers over the western and southern parts of the South West Land Division and
Eucla coast. Morning fog possible over much of the inland South West Land
Division, southern Gascoyne, and western Goldfields.

Forecast for Thursday 4 June
Showers possible over the southwest and south coasts. Morning fog possible over
the far northwest Kimberley.

Forecast for Friday 5 June
Possible showers about the southwest and Eucla coasts. Showers also possible
over the Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, far southwestern Pilbara, and northern
Wheat Belt. Chance of morning frost over inland parts of the South West Land
Division and southern Goldfields. Possible morning fog about inland parts of
the southern districts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 1:45 am WST Tuesday.
