Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak ridge will persist over the east Pilbara and Kimberley region. A trough
is moving over the western and central Pilbara today.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak ridge lies over the southwest of the state. A cold front will cross the
west coast early Sunday morning. A deep low pressure system will then move
close to the South West Capes during Sunday evening and along the south coast
Monday morning. Very windy conditions are expected across the South West Land
Division on Sunday, particularly near the coast, easing during Monday. Another
weaker cold front moves over the South West Land Division on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 31 May
Showers southwest of about Karratha to Forrest, more frequent over the South
West Land Division and southwest Gascoyne. Chance of squally thunderstorms
overs southern and western parts of the South West Land Division. Very windy
over the South West Land Division, windy over central and remaining southern
parts.

Forecast for Monday 1 June
Showers over the western and southern Gascoyne, South West Land Division,
southern Goldfields, Eucla and parts of the Southern Interior. Chance of a
shower over the eastern Pilbara. Chance of gusty thunderstorms about the Albany
coast. Morning fog possible over the northwest Kimberley and northeast Pilbara.
Very windy over southern parts of the state, windy over central parts.

Forecast for Tuesday 2 June
Showers over the South West Land Division, Eucla coast, southwestern Gascoyne,
and southwestern Goldfields, more likely about the west and south coasts.
Morning fog over much of the inland South West Land Division, Gascoyne,
northwest Kimberley, northeast Pilbara and far west Goldfields.

Forecast for Wednesday 3 June
Showers over the South West Land Division, Eucla coast, far southern Gascoyne,
and southern Goldfields, more likely about the west and south coasts. Morning
fog possible over much of the inland South West Land Division, southern
Gascoyne, and western Goldfields.

Forecast for Thursday 4 June
Showers over western and southern parts of the South West Land Division, and
along the Eucla coast. Morning fog possible over the far northwest Kimberley.
