Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak ridge will persist over the east Pilbara and Kimberley region. A trough
is approaching the west Pilbara coast today before moving over the western and
central Pilbara during Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak ridge lies over the southwest of the state. A cold front will cross the
west coast overnight Saturday and into early Sunday morning. A deep low
pressure system will then move close to the South West Capes during Sunday
evening and along the south coast Monday morning. Very windy conditions are
expected across the South West Land Division on Sunday, particularly near the
coast, easing during Monday. Another weaker cold front moves over the South
West Land Division on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 30 May
Showers increasing over the southern and southwestern Gascoyne and northwestern
Southern West Land Division, extending south and east into most of the
remaining South West Land Division and central and southern Goldfields during
the afternoon and evening. Chance of a gusty thunderstorm developing over
western parts of the South West Land Division. Moderate to heavy falls possible
over the Central West district during the afternoon and evening. Becoming windy
over western parts of the South West Land Division during the afternoon and
evening.

Forecast for Sunday 31 May
Showers southwest of about Karratha to Forrest, more frequent over the South
West Land Division and southwest Gascoyne. Chance of squally thunderstorms
overs southern and western parts of the South West Land Division. Very windy
over the South West Land Division, windy over central and remaining southern
parts.

Forecast for Monday 1 June
Showers over central parts of the Pilbara. Chance of gusty thunderstorms about
coastal parts between Perth to Bremer Bay. Morning fog possible over the
northwest Kimberley. Very windy over southern parts of the state, windy over
central parts.

Forecast for Tuesday 2 June
Showers over the South West Land Division, southwestern Gascoyne, and southern
Goldfields, more likely about the west and south coasts. Morning fog over much
of the inland South West Land Division, Gascoyne, west Kimberley, northeast
Pilbara and far west Goldfields.

Forecast for Wednesday 3 June
Showers over the South West Land Division, southwestern Gascoyne, and southern
Goldfields, more likely about the west and south coasts. Chance of a coastal
thunderstorm between Jurien Bay and Windy Harbour. Morning fog possible over
much of the inland South West Land Division, southern Gascoyne, and western
Goldfields.
