Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge to the south will direct moderate to fresh east to southeasterly winds
through northern parts of the State for most of the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies over southern and central WA and will persist through much of the
week. A weak cold front may brush the southwest coast later Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 18 May
Light showers about southern coastal and adjacent inland parts of the South
West Land Division, mostly clearing by evening. Showers and isolated
thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northeastern Interior. Windy at times
through the eastern Pilbara, southwest Kimberley, and northwest North Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 19 May
Showers over the Kimberley with the chance of a thunderstorm about the
Kimberley coast. Chance of showers developing about the eastern Pilbara coast
in the evening. Light shower possible about the Eucla coast, clearing during
the afternoon. Morning fog possible over southern parts of the South West Land
Division, southern Goldfields and Eucla. Windy through Pilbara, southern
Kimberley, north and central Interior and northern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Wednesday 20 May
Showers and patchy rain with the chance of a thunderstorm, mostly coastal, over
the north and west Kimberley and northern Pilbara, extending south to the
remaining Pilbara during the afternoon and possibly reaching the northeastern
Gascoyne by evening. Morning fog possible over the eastern Eucla. Windy through
northern and central parts.

Forecast for Thursday 21 May
Showers over the west Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, northern and eastern
Gascoyne, and northeastern Goldfields. Showers southwest of a line Busselton to
Albany, extending to southwest of a line Perth to Bremer Bay during the
afternoon and evening. Isolated thunderstorms possible over the west Kimberley,
eastern Pilbara, north and central Interior and southwestern parts of the South
West Land Division. Windy in the morning through the eastern Pilbara, southern
Kimberley and north Interior.

Forecast for Friday 22 May
Showers over the west and south Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara, far
eastern Gascoyne, Interior, Goldfields, Eucla and southern and eastern parts of
the South West Land Division. Isolated thunderstorms possible over the west
Kimberley, South Interior, Eucla, Goldfields, southeast Gascoyne and eastern
parts of the South West Land Division.
