Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge over central WA is slowly weakening. A trough will develop over inland
parts from Friday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge over southern and central WA is slowly weakening. A weak cold front
will move across the South West Capes later Wednesday afternoon and then the
remainder of the South West Land Division on Wednesday evening and into
Thursday, followed by another cold front brushing past the south coast on
Thursday night into Friday. A new ridge will extend over southwest WA later
Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 12 May
Mostly sunny over the state.

Forecast for Wednesday 13 May
Showers developing about the South West Capes during the morning, extending to
southwest of a line Bunbury to Albany during the afternoon and to south of a
line Mandurah to Bremer Bay in the evening. Chance of a gusty thunderstorm
south of a line Busselton to Albany. Windy in the afternoon and evening across
southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 14 May
Light showers or drizzle south of a line Eneabba to Esperance, mostly about the
coasts. Chance of a shower extending to remaining parts south a line Kalbarri
to Israelite Bay in the evening. Chance of a gusty thunderstorm about the
northern Lower West, adjacent southwest Central Wheat Belt and South East
Coastal districts. Possible morning fog over southwestern parts of the South
West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 15 May
Light showers or drizzle over the South West Land Division, southern and
central Goldfields, Eucla and southern Interior, mostly about the coasts.
Chance of a thunderstorm over central and southern Goldfields, far eastern
South East Coastal district and Eucla. Afternoon or evening shower possible
across northern and eastern Kimberley, and eastern parts of North Interior.
Morning fog possible over southwestern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Saturday 16 May
Showers about coastal parts of the South West Land Division and southern
Gascoyne, extending to adjacent inland parts south of a line Perth to Bremer
Bay for a period during the day. Showers possible over the north and east
Kimberley, eastern Interior, southeast Goldfields and Eucla. Chance of a
thunderstorm about the eastern South Interior and far eastern Eucla. Morning
fog possible over southern parts of the South West Land Division and
northwestern Kimberley.
