Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough over inland parts of northern WA continues to weaken, as a ridge over
southern districts pushes a southeasterly surge into the Pilbara this weekend.
A trough about the west coast will start to weaken in the new week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is extending over southern parts of the State while a trough deepens
near the west coast over the weekend. A weak cold front will brush the
southwest of the State late on Sunday, followed by another ridge.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 10 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the far northern Goldfields, central
Interior, Gascoyne, northeast Central West and northwest Kimberley. Cloudy over
southern districts. Windy at times over central parts of the State.

Forecast for Saturday 11 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Gascoyne, far western Interior,
southern Pilbara, northwest Goldfields, Central West and northern parts of the
Central Wheat Belt and Lower West. Chance of an afternoon shower or
thunderstorm over the western Kimberley. Windy at times over central parts of
the State and about the Darling Scarp in the early morning. Warm near the west
coast.

Forecast for Sunday 12 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the western Kimberley, eastern Pilbara,
inland Gascoyne, western Interior, Central West, Lower West and western parts
of the Central Wheat Belt. Windy in the morning across the Pilbara, North
Interior and northern Gascoyne and in the early morning about the Darling
Scarp. Warm near the west coast and throughout the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 13 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms extending from the western Kimberley through
central parts of the State to the south coast around Esperance. Showers and
thunderstorms also possible over western districts between Shark Bay and Perth
and adjacent inland parts of the Central West, Gascoyne, Central Wheat Belt and
Great Southern. Chance of a shower over the south coast west of Albany. Warm
near the west coast and over northern and eastern parts of the South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 14 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms extending from the far western Kimberley
through the Pilbara, Gascoyne, western Interior, far northwest Goldfields and
northern parts of the South West Land Division. Chance of morning fog and a
shower or two over southern districts between Walpole and Esperance.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 1:45 am WST Saturday.
