Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough persists over inland parts of northern WA. A trough begins
developing down the west coast today. A ridge extending over southern districts
will see a southeasterly surge pushing through central WA and into the Pilbara
from Friday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is extending over southern parts of the State, and a trough over the
Goldfields, Interior and Eucla moves east and out of the state today as the
ridge pushes in. Another trough will develop near the west coast from Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 9 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the northeast Gascoyne, north and east
Goldfields, south and central South Interior, and north and east Eucla. Chance
of a shower along the Eucla coast, clearing in later in the afternoon. Chance
of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm over the far north and northwest
Kimberley.

Forecast for Friday 10 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the far northern Goldfields, central
Interior, central and east Gascoyne, and the northeast Central West. Chance of
a shower along the Eucla coast in the morning. Chance of an afternoon shower or
thunderstorm over the far north and northwest Kimberley. Patchy morning fog
over inland southeastern parts of the South West Land Division, and the far
southern Goldfields. Windy at times over central parts, and about the Darling
Scarp in the morning.

Forecast for Saturday 11 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over most of the Gascoyne, far northwest South
Interior, far southern Pilbara, and northern parts of the South West Land
Division. Chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm over the northwest
Kimberley. Windy at times over central parts, and about the Darling Scarp in
the morning.

Forecast for Sunday 12 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the east and south Gascoyne, far southeast
Pilbara, western Interior, northern Goldfields, and inland northern parts of
the South West Land Division. Chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm
over the west Kimberley. Windy morning through central WA.

Forecast for Monday 13 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the far northern Goldfields, far western
Interior, central and southern Gascoyne, and much of the South West Land
Division except for the southwest and the west coast. Chance of an afternoon
shower or thunderstorm over the inland west Kimberley. Chance of a shower over
the south coast west of Albany.
