Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough persists over inland parts of northern WA. A ridge extending over
southern districts will see a southeasterly surge pushing through central WA
and into the Pilbara from Friday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is extending over southern parts of the State and a trough will develop
near the west coast on Friday. Two smaller troughs over the Goldfields,
Interior and Eucla will move east during Wednesday and Thursday as the ridge
pushes in.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 7 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the southeastern Gascoyne, Goldfields,
southwestern South Interior, Eucla, and far eastern inland parts of the South
West Land Division. Thunderstorms may be severe over central parts of the
Goldfields. Showers over southeastern parts of the South West Land Division,
easing during the day. Chance of a shower over the South Coastal district and
in the afternoon over the far north Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 8 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the eastern Goldfields, southwestern South
Interior, and Eucla. Showers over the far southwest of the South West Land
Division with the chance of a shower along the remaining south coast. Chance of
an afternoon shower over the far north and west Kimberley. Possible morning fog
over inland southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 9 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the north and east Goldfields, south and
central South Interior and north and east Eucla. Showers over southern coastal
districts of the South West Land Division clearing during the afternoon. Chance
of an afternoon shower over the far north and northwest Kimberley. Possible
morning fog over the southwest South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 10 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the northern Goldfields, northwest South
Interior, south and east Gascoyne, and northern South West Land Division.
Chance of a shower along the Eucla coast. Chance of an afternoon shower or
thunderstorm over the far north and northwest Kimberley. Windy over central
parts.

Forecast for Saturday 11 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over most of the Gascoyne, far northwest South
Interior, far north Goldfields, and northern and central parts of the South
West Land Division. Chance of a shower along the Eucla coast. Chance of an
afternoon shower or thunderstorm over the far northwest Kimberley. Possible
morning fog over the inland Southeast Coastal district and far southern
Goldfields.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 1:45 am WST Wednesday.
