Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A stagnant trough persists over inland parts of northern WA. A ridge over
central Australia directs an easterly flow into the Kimberley, weakening
slightly from Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak ridge lays over southeastern parts of the State as a trough extends from
the Gascoyne into the eastern South West Land Division. The trough will push
further east during Saturday and Sunday. A cold front will pass through the
southwest corner of the State on Sunday, followed by a new high pressure ridge
strengthening along the south coast on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 4 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the southeastern Gascoyne, Goldfields,
southwestern South Interior, Eucla and eastern South West Land Division.
Possible damaging winds, heavy rainfall and large hail from thunderstorms over
the Goldfields and eastern South West Land Division. Chance of a shower or
thunderstorm over the remaining eastern Gascoyne and most of the remaining
South West Land Division. Chance of an afternoon shower over the far north
Kimberley.

Forecast for Sunday 5 April
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Goldfields,
southwestern South Interior, Eucla, and eastern parts of the South East Coastal
district. Showers over the remaining southern South West Land Division. Chance
of an afternoon shower over the far north Kimberley. Possible morning fog over
southern and western parts of the South West Land Division. Windy at times over
the Eucla district.

Forecast for Monday 6 April
Showers and thunderstorms over much of the southeastern Gascoyne, Goldfields,
Eucla, and southwest South Interior. Showers over remaining southern parts of
the South West Land Division. Chance of an afternoon shower over the far north
Kimberley. Possible morning fog over south parts of the South West Land
Division and southwest Kimberley. Windy at times over southeastern parts of the
State.

Forecast for Tuesday 7 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the southeastern Gascoyne, Goldfields,
southwestern South Interior, western Eucla, and eastern parts of the South West
Land Division. Showers over remaining parts of the Eucla and the southern South
West Land Division. Chance of an afternoon shower over the far north Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 8 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the southeastern Gascoyne, Goldfields,
southwestern South Interior, Eucla, and eastern parts of the South West Land
Division. Showers over remaining southern parts of the South West Land
Division. Chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm over the far north
Kimberley.
