Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the northern Kimberley along the Pilbara coast and will
persist until the end of the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies over southeastern parts of the State. A trough will remain near
the west coast for much of the week before moving inland on Saturday as a new
ridge pushes in from the southwest.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 18 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and east Kimberley and northeast North
Interior. Chance of a shower over the west Pilbara and Gascoyne. Chance of
light showers and drizzle over the eastern Eucla, clearing later this
afternoon. Hot near the west coast.

Forecast for Thursday 19 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern North Interior and the
northeastern Pilbara. Chance of a shower over the eastern Eucla and south of
about Margaret River to Albany. Possible morning fog near the Eucla coast. Hot
over much of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 20 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern North Interior and most
of the Pilbara. Light showers over the southeast South West, South Coastal, and
adjacent parts of the Great Southern districts, mostly in the morning. Possible
morning fog over the southeast Eucla. Hot over much of the South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Saturday 21 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northern and western Pilbara.
Chance of a shower about the coast between Augusta and Albany. Hot over a large
part of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 22 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Chance of a shower over the North
Interior and north Pilbara. Showers over the south coastal districts and
adjacent Great Southern district. Hot over a large part of the inland South
West Land Division.
