Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough will move north across the Pilbara and North Interior during Tuesday
afternoon and Wednesday as a ridge extends over southern WA. The trough will
push further north into the southern Kimberley and extend down the Pilbara
coast on Thursday and Friday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough is moving over the southeast of the State ahead of a cold front moving
along the south coast. A strong ridge will push in over southern WA behind the
front and will persist until the end of the week. A weak west coast trough will
begin to develop on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 10 March
Chance of showers and thunderstorms over the far north and far west Kimberley,
northeast and central Pilbara. Showers and possible thunderstorms over the
Southeast Coastal district, southeast Goldfields and western Eucla. Showers
over the eastern and southern South West Land Division, central and southwest
Goldfields and far southern Gascoyne. Raised dust possible over far southeast
Goldfields, Eucla and adjacent South Interior. Very hot through eastern Eucla,
far eastern and northern Goldfields, northern Gascoyne, Pilbara and Interior.
Cool over the South West Land Division and southwest Goldfields. Windy over
southwest Pilbara, central and southern parts of the state. Very windy over
southeast Goldfields, Eucla and adjacent South Interior for a period during the
afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Wednesday 11 March
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the Goldfields and Eucla, with possible
heavy falls. Chance of showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern
and central Pilbara and North Interior. Showers over southern and eastern parts
of the South West Land Division. Very hot through the Pilbara and North
Interior. Cool over southern and central WA. Windy over the far southern
Pilbara, central and southeastern parts of the state.

Forecast for Thursday 12 March
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the southern South Interior and Eucla
with moderate falls possible. Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley.
Chance of showers and thunderstorms over the northern Pilbara, and northeast
North Interior. Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division and
southern and eastern Goldfields. Windy over the southern Pilbara, southern
parts of the North Interior, central and southeastern parts of the state.

Forecast for Friday 13 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and central Kimberley. Chance of
showers and thunderstorms over the southern Kimberley, northeast Pilbara, North
Interior and eastern South Interior. Showers over southern parts of the South
West Land Division, Goldfields and far southeast Gascoyne. Windy in the morning
over the Gascoyne and central Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 14 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, eastern Pilbara,
eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla. Showers over southern parts of the
South West Land Division.
