Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends across the Pilbara coast and through the Kimberley. A ridge
over the Interior weakens on Friday, allowing the trough to descend into the
North Interior from the Kimberley. A new southeast wind change through the
Interior will move the trough northwards again early next week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge over southern WA will weaken and move east, allowing a deep west coast
trough to move further inland later Friday. A weak cold front will pass through
the Bight on Saturday, followed by a new ridge developing over southwest WA.
The ridge will extend over southern WA on the weekend, shifting the inland
trough to the Gascoyne.
