Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A tropical low is moving west across the Kimberley and is expected to move
offshore across the Dampier Peninsula west coast during Friday. Over the
weekend, there is a chance the tropical low may develop into a tropical cyclone
as it moves southwest, most likely staying offshore parallel to the Pilbara
coast during the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A west coast trough is deepening while a ridge persists over the southern
districts. A tropical low may move into the northwest Gascoyne on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 5 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, and
northern and central Interior. Isolated heavy falls possible in the Kimberley.
Light showers possible along the south coast east of Bremer Bay. Very hot over
much of the Central West, Gascoyne, western Pilbara and northern Goldfields.
Windy at times over the Interior, eastern Pilbara, Eucla and western Gascoyne.

Forecast for Friday 6 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, Interior, and far northeast Gascoyne. Isolated heavy falls possible
near the west Kimberley coast. Light showers possible along the south coast and
over the Eucla district. Very hot over the Central West, Gascoyne, western
Pilbara districts, northern Goldfields and northern inland parts of Lower West.
Windy over western Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, North Interior, Eucla and
northern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Saturday 7 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern and
central Interior, northern Gascoyne and far northern parts of the Goldfields.
Possible heavy falls about the east Pilbara coast. Chance of a shower or
thunderstorm with little or no rainfall over southern Gascoyne, northern and
inland parts of the South West Land Division and over the Eucla. Light shower
possible about the south coast in the morning. Very hot over the Central West,
western Gascoyne and southwest Pilbara and and northern inland parts of Lower
West. Very windy conditions possible over the east Pilbara coast. Windy at
times over the Gascoyne and western Pilbara.

Forecast for Sunday 8 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern and
central Interior, northern Goldfields and northern Gascoyne. Possible heavy
falls near the Pilbara coast. Chance of a shower or thunderstorm with little or
no rainfall over southern Gascoyne, northern parts of the South West Land
Division and over the Eucla. Very hot over the western Gascoyne, Central West
district, northwest Central Wheat Belt and northern inland parts of Lower West.
Very windy conditions possible over the Pilbara coast. Windy elsewhere over
inland Pilbara, northern Gascoyne and Eucla.

Forecast for Monday 9 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern and
central Interior, northern Goldfields, Gascoyne and northern parts of Central
West district. Possible heavy falls over southwest Pilbara and western
Gascoyne. Chance of a shower or thunderstorm with little or no rainfall over
southern parts of Central West, northern inland parts of Central West, Central
Wheat Belt and northern parts of the great Southern. Very hot over inland parts
of the South West Land Division. Very windy conditions possible over the west
Pilbara coast and northwest Gascoyne coast. Windy elsewhere over inland
Pilbara, northern Gascoyne and Eucla.
