Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure persists through inland areas. A ridge building to
the south will bring a south to southeast wind change to southern Pilbara and
southern parts of the North Interior over the weekend. Winds turning easterly
early next week will push the inland trough closer to the coast.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A west coast trough will move to the Goldfields and inland Gascoyne on Saturday
as a weak front brushes past the south coast. A ridge will then develop across
much of southern WA on Sunday, pushing the trough further north. Another weak
front will brush the south coast on Monday, followed by the west coast trough
returning by Tuesday.
