Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low-pressure system will persist through northern parts of the state
for the rest of the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough extends from the inland Gascoyne into the Goldfields as a high
pressure ridge persists over the far south of the state on Tuesday. The trough
will form a broad low pressure system through inland parts from Wednesday,
deepening about the west coast.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 8 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Light morning showers
possible south of a line from Harvey to Israelite Bay. Very hot through the
Interior, Pilbara, inland Kimberley and Gascoyne. Windy through southern and
western districts in the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 9 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northeast Pilbara,
Interior, Goldfields, eastern Gascoyne, eastern South West Land Division and
far west Eucla. Chance of a light shower over remaining parts south of Bunbury
to Katanning. Very hot through the Interior, Pilbara, northern Goldfields,
inland Kimberley and Gascoyne.

Forecast for Wednesday 10 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, central and
eastern Pilbara, southeast Goldfields, most of the Eucla and the far east South
East Coastal district. Chance of a light shower near the coast east of Albany.
Very hot through the Interior, Pilbara, northern Goldfields, inland Kimberley
and Gascoyne.

Forecast for Thursday 11 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, Interior, northeast Gascoyne, Goldfields and inland southern parts of
the South West Land Division. Very hot through the Interior, Pilbara, northern
Goldfield, inland Kimberley, Gascoyne and northern inland South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Friday 12 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, Interior, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields and central and eastern parts
of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 1:45 am WST Tuesday.
