Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough of low pressure extends from the Pilbara to the Interior. The
trough will push northwards into the Kimberley from Sunday as a ridge
strengthens through the southern Pilbara and Northern Interior, and a trough
deepens down the northwest coastline.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge is strengthening over southern and western WA and will
become more firmly established into the weekend. A new trough will deepen down
the west coast on Sunday as the high moves towards the Bight, with the trough
moving inland late Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 28 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, eastern Pilbara
and far northeast Gascoyne. Hot through the inland Kimberley and north
Interior. Windy over the Eucla and along the Gascoyne and Central West coasts.

Forecast for Saturday 29 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, north and central Interior,
inland Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne and far northern Goldfields. Light showers
possible along the south coast between Albany and Israelite Bay. Windy over
central and southeastern parts of the State.

Forecast for Sunday 30 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, north and central Interior,
inland Pilbara, northern Gascoyne and far northern Goldfields. Windy over
central and southeastern parts of the State, and over the Darling Scarp during
the morning.

Forecast for Monday 1 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northwest Interior,
Pilbara, Gascoyne and Central West. Morning fog possible over southern
districts. Windy morning over the Gascoyne, Interior, inland Pilbara and
Central West.

Forecast for Tuesday 2 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, eastern
Pilbara, Gascoyne, Central Wheatbelt, inland Central West and western
Goldfields. Light showers possible along the south coast west of Esperance.
Windy morning over the Interior and Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 1:45 am WST Saturday.
