Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure lies over the north of the state. Tropical Cyclone
Fina located over waters to the north of the Northern Territory, and is moving
southwestwards. It is forecast to reach the Timor Sea on Sunday, possibly
moving closer to the northern Kimberley coast early Monday or Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough sits about the west coast and moves inland later Saturday associated
with a cold front over southern areas. A high pressure ridge pushes in from the
west early next week.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 21 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the eastern South Interior, with the
chance of thunderstorms over the inland Central West, northern Lower West,
Goldfields, eastern North Interior and Kimberley. Chance of showers about
remaining southern parts of the South West Land Division, mostly about the
south coast. Windy at times over the Southern Interior and Eucla.

Forecast for Saturday 22 November
Showers over most parts of the South West Land Division, southwestern
Goldfields, and Eucla with thunderstorms possible over southern and central
parts of the South West Land Division and adjacent far southwestern Goldfields.

Forecast for Sunday 23 November
Showers and thunderstorms possible over southern and eastern parts of the South
West Land Division, southern Goldfields, Eucla, far southern and eastern
Interior, and Kimberley. Showers possible over remaining parts of the South
West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 24 November
Showers southwest of a line Geraldton to Bremer Bay. Chance of showers and
thunderstorms over most parts of the Kimberley and northeast Interior. Very
windy and heavy rainfall possible over far northern parts of the Kimberley,
dependant on movement of Tropical Cyclone Fina.

Forecast for Tuesday 25 November
Showers over southern and western parts of the South West Land Division. Chance
of showers and thunderstorms over most parts of the Kimberley and northeast
Interior. Very windy and heavy rainfall possible over far northern parts of the
Kimberley, dependant on movement of Tropical Cyclone Fina.
