Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure over the Pilbara will deepen over the weekend. A
high moving south of the State on Monday will bring a fresh and gusty
southeasterly flow to the Pilbara and far southern Kimberley ahead of a broad
area of low pressure that will redevelop through the north on Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will weaken as it tracks east across southern WA on Saturday. A
ridge moves in rapidly behind the front, with a west coast trough forming on
Monday. A low pressure system will develop within the trough on Monday before
moving offshore from the Central West coast on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 1 November
Showers over the South West Land Division, contracting to southern districts in
the afternoon and evening. Chance of a shower over the southwest Goldfields,
far southern Gascoyne and western Eucla. Showers and thunderstorms over the
Kimberley, eastern North Interior, inland Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, South
Interior and far eastern Eucla. Windy near the west coast and through the South
Interior and Eucla. Unseasonably cool throughout the South West Land Division
and Goldfields.

Forecast for Sunday 2 November
Isolated light showers along the south coast east of Albany. Showers and
thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and Interior. Possible
morning fog through inland parts of the South West and South Coastal districts
and the western Great Southern. Windy over central and eastern parts of the
State.

Forecast for Monday 3 November
Showers and thunderstorms over most of the Kimberley and the northeast North
Interior. Possible shower about the Eucla coast. Warmer over western parts of
the South West Land Division. Windy over the Pilbara, North Interior, far
southern Kimberley, Gascoyne and western South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 4 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, southeast Pilbara,
Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and northern parts of the South West Land
Division. Windy over central and western parts of the State.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 1:30 pm WST Saturday.
