Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure over the Pilbara will persist and strengthen into
the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough will move eastwards over central and southern parts overnight
Wednesday, as a weak ridge of high pressure forms in its wake. A more
significant front will reach the southwest of the state on Friday afternoon and
track eastwards through Saturday, a stronger ridge developing behind it. A
trough of low pressure will start to develop through northeastern parts of the
South Interior District from Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 29 October
Showers southwest of a line from Shark Bay to Israelite Bay, contracting to the
southwest of Lancelin to Israelite Bay by evening. Possible showers through the
eastern Goldfields, Eucla and southern South Interior. Showers and
thunderstorms over the north and east Kimberley. Fresh and gusty winds
extending over much of the State, excluding the Kimberley and North Interior.
Very warm over northern and eastern WA.

Forecast for Thursday 30 October
Showers southwest of a line Lancelin to Bremer Bay and over the South East
Coastal District and far southern Goldfields, mostly clearing and becoming
confined to coastal parts between Bunbury to Walpole by the evening. Showers
and thunderstorms over the north and east Kimberley, mostly in the afternoon
and evening. Possible early fog over the eastern Central West and western parts
of the Central Wheat Belt and Great Southern. Hot over the Interior and inland
Kimberley.

Forecast for Friday 31 October
Showers southwest of a line Mandurah to Walpole extending to southwest of
Dongara by late afternoon and evening. Chance of thunderstorms developing in
the afternoon and evening south of a line from Bunbury to Bremer Bay. Showers
and thunderstorms over most of the Kimberley and eastern North Interior, mainly
in the afternoon and evening. Possible morning fog over the inland western
South West Land Division, eastern South East Coastal District, and inland
Eucla. Becoming windy over southern and western parts of the South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Saturday 1 November
Showers over the South West Land Division, contracting to southern parts of the
region in the afternoon and evening. Chance of a shower over the southwest
Goldfields and far western Eucla. Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley
and North Interior, tending more isolated over the eastern Pilbara, eastern
Eucla and southern and eastern South Interior. Windy about the south coast
districts and west coast. Unseasonably cool throughout the South West Land
Division and Goldfields.

Forecast for Sunday 2 November
Possible showers throughout the south coastal districts, contracting eastward
to coastal parts east of Esperance by evening. Showers and thunderstorms in the
Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and Interior. Sunny skies for the Gascoyne and
central and northern parts of the South West Land Division and Goldfields.
Cooler than normal throughout the southern half of the State.
