Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends over the Pilbara, Kimberley and NT, moving east during today.
Another broad area of low pressure re-establishes over the Pilbara late
Wednesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge sits across the south of the state with a trough down the west coast.
The trough moves inland today ahead of a cold front arriving on Wednesday.
Another front brushes the far southwest corner on Thursday, with a more
significant front approaching late Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 28 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley. Chance of a shower about
the northern Central West coast in the evening.

Forecast for Wednesday 29 October
Showers southwest of a line from Geraldton to Bremer Bay extending to Kalbarri
to Ravensthorpe in the afternoon, mostly about the Lower West and South West
districts, clearing inland parts by evening. Chance of a shower over the
central and eastern Goldfields and Eucla and far southern South Interior.
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and east Kimberley, mostly in the
afternoon and evening. Fresh and gusty winds extending over much of the State,
excluding the Kimberley. Warm to hot through southeastern WA.

Forecast for Thursday 30 October
Showers southwest of a line Lancelin to Bremer bay and over the South East
Coastal district, mostly clearing and becoming confined to coastal parts
between Bunbury to Walpole by the evening. Showers and thunderstorms over the
north and east Kimberley, mostly in the afternoon and evening. Possible morning
fog over the inland northern South West Land Division. Windy at times over
southeastern parts.

Forecast for Friday 31 October
Showers southwest of a line Mandurah to Walpole extending to southwest of
Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay late afternoon and evening. Showers and thunderstorms
over most of the Kimberley and eastern North Interior, mostly in the afternoon
and evening. Possible morning fog over the inland western South West Land
Division. Becoming windy over western parts of the State.

Forecast for Saturday 1 November
Showers over the South West Land Division. Chance of a shower over the
southwest Goldfields and far western Eucla. Showers and thunderstorms over the
Kimberley and north Interior, decreasing to a chance over the eastern South
Interior, Eucla and southeast Pilbara. Windy at times near the south coast,
South Interior and Eucla.
