Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure sits across the north from Wednesday, extending
southwards into the interior from Thursday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A west coast trough develops from Wednesday, moving inland on Thursday. A ridge
extends over southern areas before a cold front reaches the far southwest late
Thursday into Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 21 October
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Eucla, far
eastern Goldfields, and South East Coastal districts.

Forecast for Wednesday 22 October
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the Kimberley, north and central
Interior, southeast Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne and far northern Goldfields.
Isolated, mostly morning showers over southern coastal parts. Morning fog and
frost possible over inland southern parts of the South West Land Division.
Windy over central parts of the state in the morning.

Forecast for Thursday 23 October
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, inland
Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and southeastern parts of the
South West Land Division. Isolated showers over remaining coastal and southern
parts of the South West Land Division. Morning fog possible over the Southwest
District and adjacent parts of the Great Southern and Lower West. Windy over
central and southeastern parts of the State.

Forecast for Friday 24 October
Showers over most of the State, excluding the west Pilbara, much of the
Gascoyne, northeastern parts of the South West Land Division, and the
Goldfields. Possible thunderstorms over inland parts of the Kimberley and
Pilbara, Interior, east Eucla, and northeast Gascoyne. Windy over much of the
State except for the Kimberley and northern Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 25 October
Showers and possible thunderstorms over much of the Kimberley, Interior, and
far eastern parts of the Pilbara. Showers over southern and western parts of
the South West Land Division contracting to just southern parts during the
afternoon and evening. Windy over southern districts and Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 1:45 am WST Wednesday.
