Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough lies over the Kimberley and extends into the
central Pilbara. The trough will be pushed towards the Pilbara coast at times
as a high pressure ridge develops to the south from Tuesday. The trough will
extend further into the west Pilbara and Gascoyne on Thursday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge extends over the lower west coast and east into southern
parts of the state. A weak cold front will brush the south coast on Tuesday. A
high pressure centre will then develop over southeastern parts of the state on
Thursday with a trough forming down the west coast.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 29 September
Chance of a light shower about the coastal South East Coast district. Mostly
clear over the remainder of the state.

Forecast for Tuesday 30 September
Showers about southern coastal parts of the South West Land Division, with the
chance of light showers extending to remaining parts south of a line from
Lancelin to Lake Grace to Balladonia for a period during the day. Mostly sunny
throughout central and northern WA. Areas of morning fog over the inland
southern and central South West Land Division and northwest Kimberley. Morning
frost possible over inland central and eastern parts of the South West Land
Division and southwestern Goldfields.

Forecast for Wednesday 1 October
Light showers about southern coastal parts between east of Albany, contracting
to east of Israelite Bay by midday and clearing in the afternoon. Chance of
light showers extending into inland eastern parts of the South East Coastal
District and far southern Goldfields for a period in the morning. Mostly sunny
throughout central and northern WA. Possible morning fog over the north and
northwest Kimberley, eastern coastal Pilbara, and inland central parts of the
South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 2 October
Mostly sunny over the state. Possible morning fog over the north and northwest
Kimberley, and inland southern coastal districts. Chance of patchy frost over
the western Great Southern District. Warm over South West Land Division. Windy
in the morning over the North Interior, eastern Pilbara and southern Kimberley.

Forecast for Friday 3 October
Showers developing about the South West District during the afternoon,
extending into the southern Lower West during the evening. Afternoon
thunderstorms over the north and east Kimberley. Possible morning fog over the
north and northwest Kimberley, and inland South West Coastal district. Warm
over eastern parts of the South West Land Division, Goldfields and Eucla.
