Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough lies over the Kimberley and extents into the
central Pilbara. The trough will be pushed towards the Pilbara coast at times
as a high pressure ridge develops to the south from Tuesday. The trough will
extend further into the west Pilbara and Gascoyne on Thursday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge extends over the lower west coast and east into southern
parts of the state in the wake of a cold front moving along the central and
eastern south coast. Another weak cold front will brush the south coast on
Tuesday. A high pressure centre will then develop over southeastern parts of
the state on Thursday with a trough forming down the west coast.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 28 September
Showers south of a line Jurien Bay to Norseman to Israelite Bay, more likely
south the South and South East Coastal districts, and mostly clearing inland
parts during the evening. Isolated showers over far northern parts of the
Kimberley, until early evening.

Forecast for Monday 29 September
Slight chance of showers, mostly morning, about the Lower West, South
West,Great Southern and southern Goldfields. Showers through the remainder of
the southern districts, most likely about coastal parts. Slight chance of an
afternoon shower over the far north Kimberley. Possible morning fog over the
north and northwest Kimberley, inland Lower West and South West districts,
western Great Southern and southwest Central Wheat Belt.

Forecast for Tuesday 30 September
Showers south and west of a line from Lancelin to Lake Grace to Balladonia,
most likely about the southwest corner. Mostly sunny skies throughout central
and northern WA. Areas of morning fog over the inland southern and central
South West Land Division and northwest Kimberley. Morning frost possible over
inland central and eastern parts of the South West Land Division and adjacent
western Goldfields.

Forecast for Wednesday 1 October
Light morning showers about southern coastal parts east of Albany, extending
along the Eucla coast in the afternoon. Mostly sunny skies throughout central
and northern WA. Possible morning fog over the north and northwest Kimberley,
eastern coastal Pilbara, and inland central parts of the South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Thursday 2 October
Mostly sunny over the state. Possible morning fog over the north and northwest
Kimberley. Possible morning fog and frost over inland southern coastal
districts.
