Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough will develop in the Kimberley through the weekend
and into the new week. A ridge will push into the Pilbara from Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge persists over central Western Australia over the weekend. A high over
southern WA will push eastwards on Saturday ahead of a weak cold front that
brushes the southwest on Sunday. A new ridge will strengthen into next week.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 26 September
Chance of light showers near the south coast to the west of Hopetoun. Partly
cloudy through the north and west Pilbara but mainly clear skies for the
remainder of northern and central WA.

Forecast for Saturday 27 September
Light showers about south coastal parts, most likely to the west of Albany.
Slight chance of showers over far northern parts of the Kimberley. Possible
early fog over the Great Southern and inland parts of the South West and South
Coastal District. Partly cloudy over the southern districts; mostly sunny
through the remainder of the State.

Forecast for Sunday 28 September
Showers south of a line from about Jurien Bay to Norseman to Israelite Bay,
most widespread about the Lower West, South West and South Coastal District.
Slight chance of showers over far northern parts of the Kimberley. Possible
morning fog over parts of the Central West, Lower West, Central Wheat Belt, and
northern Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 29 September
Slight chance of showers about the lower west coast, Great Southern and
southern Goldfields. Showers through the remainder of the southern districts,
most likely about coastal parts. Slight chance of an afternoon shower over the
far north Kimberley. Possible morning fog over the north Kimberley, inland
Lower West, Great Southern and Central Wheat Belt.

Forecast for Tuesday 30 September
Showers south and west of a line from Jurien Bay to Lake Grace to Balladonia,
most likely about the southwest corner. Areas of morning fog over the inland
southern and central South West Land Division and northwest Kimberley. Mostly
sunny skies throughout central and northern WA.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Saturday.
