Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough over the Pilbara will continue to move east and reach the Kimberley on
Monday. A new ridge develops over the central west coast on Monday,
strengthening Tuesday and bringing a moderate to fresh southeasterly flow to
the Pilbara. On Wednesday the next trough will move into the western Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong cold front will continue to sweep across the south into Sunday night.
A ridge then builds about the central west coast from Monday. Another cold
front will move into the southwest on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 14 September
Gusty showers with possible damaging winds over most of the South West Land
Division and far southwest Goldfields, contracting to the south coast during
the evening. Chance of showers over the northeast Gascoyne and southwest South
Interior early this evening. Chance of a thunderstorm in the Eucla, far eastern
Goldfields and south coast. Possible small hail southwest of a line from
Busselton to Albany.

Forecast for Monday 15 September
Showers over the South West Land Division, southwest Goldfields, most of the
Gascoyne, South Interior, eastern Eucla and far southeast Pilbara. Showers most
likely about the west and south coasts. Small hail possible through the
Southwest, and southern coastal districts, contracting eastward through the
day. Windy over southern coastal districts.

Forecast for Tuesday 16 September
Light showers southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay and extending
along the south coast to Eucla. Showers most likely southwest of Perth to
Albany. Slight chance of a shower in the northern South Interior. Patchy
morning frost through inland parts of the South West Land Division and
southwest Goldfields. Possible morning fog through the north and west
Kimberley. Fresh and gusty winds in the morning through the Pilbara.

Forecast for Wednesday 17 September
Showers southwest of a line from Kalbarri to Israelite Bay, heavier southwest
of a line Lancelin to Bremer Bay. Patchy morning frost through the far eastern
Wheat Belt and western Goldfields. Possible morning fog through the far north
Kimberley. Windy over the western Gascoyne and South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 18 September
Chance of showers over the west and south of the South West Land Division, more
likely about the south coast.
