Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge developing across the south of the State will deliver a dry southeast
wind surge across the north from Friday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front is moving over the southeast of the State during the remainder of
Thursday. A ridge is developing in the wake of the front and extends across
southern WA from Friday, persisting into the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 14 August
Chance of showers about the south coast and eastern Eucla.

Forecast for Friday 15 August
Showers about southern coastal parts. Chance of a shower over the southwest
Great Southern and the remainder of the South West district. Morning frost over
inland parts of the central and southern South West Land Division, and
southwestern Goldfields. Windy morning across the Interior, southern Kimberley
and Pilbara.

Forecast for Saturday 16 August
Chance of showers about the south and Eucla coasts, mostly morning. Morning fog
over the inland southern South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and
southern Eucla. Morning frosts over the central and southern South West Land
Division, southern and central Goldfields and southern South Interior. Windy
across the Interior, southern Kimberley, Pilbara and northeastern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Sunday 17 August
Light showers developing over most of the South West Land Division and far
southwest Goldfields during the afternoon and evening. Chance of a showers
along the Eucla coast. Morning frost possible over the eastern South Interior
and far southern Goldfields. Morning fog possible over southern coastal
districts. Windy across the Interior, Kimberley, Pilbara and Gascoyne.

Forecast for Monday 18 August
Light showers across most of the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields
and western Eucla. Showers and a chance of a thunderstorm possibly increasing
about the South West Capes later in the evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Friday.
