Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough will remain over the western Kimberley and eastern Pilbara on
Saturday. A strong cold front will move over southern WA on Sunday afternoon,
followed by a broad ridge which will extend across central WA on Monday and
Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front will dissipate over eastern parts of the South West Land
Division on Friday evening, with a ridge extending over southern parts of the
State during Friday night and Saturday. A strong cold front will cross the
South West Land Division during Sunday afternoon and evening, continuing east
on Monday as a ridge extends across the southern half of WA.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 18 July
Isolated showers over northern and coastal parts of the South West Land
Division, easing during the evening. Windy at times over southern coastal
districts.

Forecast for Saturday 19 July
Possible light showers over the south coast in the morning, and across the
South West and Lower West coast in the afternoon. Areas of early frost and fog
over inland parts of the northern and central South West Land Division,
southern Gascoyne, Goldfields and South Interior. Possible morning fog over the
far northern Kimberley. Clear skies throughout northern and central WA.

Forecast for Sunday 20 July
Becoming windy across much of the South West Land Division, Goldfields and
Gascoyne with the approach of a strong cold front. Showers, possibly heavy,
extending through the South West Land Division mainly in the afternoon and
evening. Chance of gusty thunderstorms in the South West and Lower West.
Showers developing in the southern and western Gascoyne and Goldfields in the
evening. Possible morning fog over inland parts in the north and west Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 21 July
Showers south and west of a line from Bidyadanga to Warburton, most widespread
about southern and western parts of the State, and early in the day from the
inland Gascoyne into the Goldfields. Windy throughout central and southeastern
WA. Cold throughout much of the South West Land Division and southern
Goldfields. Chance of thunderstorms near the south coast. Patchy early fog
about the north and west Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 22 July
Showers southwest of a line Geraldton to Bremer Bay, and along the south coast
to Eucla. Windy morning over the southern Kimberley and northern parts of the
Pilbara and North Interior.
