Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough will remain over the northern Kimberley this week. A ridge to the
south is moving east and will settle over central Australia for the next few
days, resulting in an east to southeast flow across the north.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge over southwest WA is expected to weaken tonight. A weak cold front
moves over southern parts of the South West Land Division on Wednesday morning,
followed by a new ridge on Wednesday night. A second weak cold front sweeps
through the southwest on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 15 July
Light showers south of a line Jurien Bay to Lake Grace to Albany.

Forecast for Wednesday 16 July
Showers over much of the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and
western Eucla, easing in the west during the afternoon and elsewhere in the
evening. Morning fog and frosts over northeast Central Wheat Belt, Goldfields,
southern Interior, inland Eucla and eastern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Thursday 17 July
Possible light showers south of Yanchep to Bremer Bay, also along the south
coast. Morning fog and frosts over inland South West Land Division, Goldfields,
southern Gascoyne, southern Interior and inland Eucla. Possible morning fog
over the far northern Kimberley. Windy in the morning through inland Pilbara
and North Interior.

Forecast for Friday 18 July
Showers over much of the South West Land Division, southwest Goldfields and
western Eucla. Morning frost over the northern parts of the South West Land
Division, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, and southern Interior. Possible morning
fog over the far northern Kimberley. Windy at times over the southern coastal
districts.

Forecast for Saturday 19 July
Light showers possible over the South West district and about the south coast.
Morning fog and frosts over inland South West Land Division, northern
Goldfields, southern Gascoyne, and southern Interior. Possible morning fog over
the far northern Kimberley.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
