Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge developing over central parts of the State will bring a return of gusty
southeasterly winds, over most areas.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will brush the south coast this evening. A ridge is developing
over the mid west which is expected to slip southwards on Wednesday. The next
cold front is expected to cross the southwest of the State on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 8 July
Showers over much of the South West Land Division contracting to the west and
south coasts during the evening. Windy along the south coast, east of Albany,
with damaging winds possible along the Esperance and Eucla coasts.

Forecast for Wednesday 9 July
Showers near the south coast, mostly east of Albany and contracting to the
Eucla in the afternoon. Possible morning fog over the inland northern South
West Land Division. Patchy morning frost over central and eastern parts of the
State, Central Wheat Belt and northwest Great Southern.

Forecast for Thursday 10 July
Showers southwest of Mandurah to Walpole and along the south coast. Chance of
light showers southwest of Perth to Bremer Bay. Possible morning fog over the
central South West Land Division and southwest Goldfields. Morning frost over
the inland South West Land Division, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields and South
Interior.

Forecast for Friday 11 July
Showers southwest of Mandurah to Albany. Chance of showers later in the day
over the remainder southwest of Lancelin to Bremer Bay. Morning frost over the
inland South West Land Division, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, South Interior
and northern Eucla.

Forecast for Saturday 12 July
Showers extending during the day to be southwest of a line from about Exmouth
to Kalgoorlie to Balladonia. Morning frost over northern inland parts of the
South West Land Division and southern Gascoyne.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
