Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge to the south will direct east to southeasterly winds over the area
until early next week. The ridge will move north and weaken from Tuesday
afternoon as a cold front moves over the southwest of the state.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front continues to move east along the Eucla coast. A weak high pressure
system will develop over southern parts of the state behind the front tonight
and Monday before moving east ahead of a more substantial cold front moving
through southwest WA on later Tuesday and Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 15 June
Showers over the Lower West district mostly clearing during the evening. Light
shower over eastern coastal parts of the South East Coastal district, extending
along the western Eucla coast during the evening. Slight chance of a light
shower over the southern Central West and northern and eastern Great Southern
districts until early evening.

Forecast for Monday 16 June
Slight chance of a light shower over the Lower West, Great Southern and South
East Coastal District. Isolated coastal showers east of Esperance. Showers
developing about coastal parts of the South West district during the day.
Possible morning fog over the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and
Eucla. Possible morning frost over inland southwestern parts of the South West
Land Division and the southeast South Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 17 June
Showers about coastal parts of the South West district, extending to southwest
of a line Jurien Bay to Albany in the afternoon, and southwest of a line
Kalbarri to Morawa to Bremer Bay during the evening. Showers more frequent over
western districts south of Lancelin. Possible shower reaching the southern
Gascoyne coast during the evening. Possible morning fog over eastern Eucla.

Forecast for Wednesday 18 June
Showers southwest of a line Exmouth to Laverton to Caiguna, more frequent over
western districts of the South West Land Division with moderate falls possible
about the Lower West and South West. Chance of a thunderstorm about western
coastal parts of the South West district.

Forecast for Thursday 19 June
Showers over the South West Land Division and southern Gascoyne Coast. Possible
light showers over remaining parts southwest of a line Exmouth to Laverton to
Caiguna.
