Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge over southern WA is directing drier east to southeasterly winds over
the area.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak high pressure system over southeastern WA will continue to move east as
a weak cold front moves over southern coastal parts on Sunday. A more
substantial cold front will sweep through southwest WA on Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of Saturday 14 June
Showers over the western South West district, with possible showers developing
over the Lower West district and along coastal parts of Central West during the
evening.
Forecast for Sunday 15 June
Light showers south of a line Kalbarri to Southern Cross to Balladonia, more
frequent about the west and south coasts, mostly clearing by early evening.
Chance of a shower about the Eucla coast later in the day. Possible morning fog
over the inland northern and central parts of the South West Land Division.
Possible morning frost over the South Interior.
Forecast for Monday 16 June
Showers developing over the Lower West and western South West district. Chance
of a shower about the south coast east of Esperance. Possible morning fog over
the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and Eucla. Possible morning
frost over the southeast South Interior.
Forecast for Tuesday 17 June
Showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Albany, extending north and east
during the day to be southwest of a line Kalbarri to Southern Cross to
Esperance by evening, showers more frequent over the western districts.
Possible shower reaching the southern Gascoyne coast and far southwest
Goldfields in the evening. Possible morning fog over eastern Eucla.
Forecast for Wednesday 18 June
Showers southwest of a line Coral Bay to Laverton to Balladonia.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Sunday.
