Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge over southern WA will direct east to southeasterly winds over the area.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front along the south coast of the state will continue to move east,
crossing over the SA border by the middle of the day. In the wake of this
front, a high pressure system extends a ridge over southern parts of the state.
Another cold front will sweep through southwest WA on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 11 June
Showers about the west and south coasts of the South West Land Division, Eucla
coast and Shark Bay’s west coast. Possible morning frost over inland parts of
the South West Land Division, western Goldfields, adjacent Gascoyne and South
Interior. Windy over the Eucla, easing during the afternoon.

Forecast for Thursday 12 June
Showers about the west and south coasts south of Rockingham. Possible morning
frost over inland parts of the South West Land Division, Goldfields, eastern
and southern Gascoyne, and South Interior. Possible morning fog over central
and southern inland parts of the South West Land Division and southwest
Goldfields. Windy in the morning across southwest Kimberley and adjacent
Pilbara.

Forecast for Friday 13 June
Showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay, extending to south of a
line Dongara to Southern Cross to Balladonia during the afternoon and evening,
showers more frequent about the west and south coasts. Gusty thunderstorms
possible about the southwest coasts. Chance of morning frost over the South
Interior. Windy over the southern districts, easing later in the day.

Forecast for Saturday 14 June
Light morning shower along the south coast. Possible showers developing over
the South West district and west coastal parts of the South West Land Division
during the afternoon. Possible morning fog and frost over inland parts of the
South West Land Division, northern and western Goldfields, and far southern
Gascoyne.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
