Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge over central parts of the State brings gusty southeasterly winds during
the morning periods. The ridge will weaken from Monday, allowing a more
easterly flow to develop.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system over southern WA is slowly moving east and will exit the
state on Monday night. A cold front will approach the southwest coast later
Monday and move through the South West Land Division on Tuesday, weakening as
it moves inland. A new ridge will develop across the Lower West coast from
Wednesday, allowing a moist westerly flow to continue about the southwest coast.

Light showers near the coasts of the southern districts.
Forecast for Sunday 8 June
Light showers possible about the south coast of the South West Land Division,
Eucla, eastern parts of South East Coastal, southeast Goldfields and southern
parts of South Interior. Possible morning frost over inland parts of the South
West Land Division, Goldfields and southern Interior. Morning fog possible over
inland southern parts of the South West Land Division, far southern Goldfields
and western Eucla. Windy in the morning across southern Kimberley, adjacent
Pilbara and adjacent North Interior.
Forecast for Monday 9 June
Possible showers east of Esperance, far eastern Goldfields, Eucla and southern
parts of the South Interior. Showers and chance of a thunderstorm developing
about the South West Capes later in the day. Possible morning frost over inland
parts of the South West Land Division, western Goldfields and southeast
Gascoyne. Possible morning fog over south coastal districts. Windy in the
morning across southwest Kimberley and adjacent Pilbara.
Forecast for Tuesday 10 June
Showers across the South West Land Division south of a line Mullewa to Southern
Cross, more frequent about the west and south coasts. Possible showers over the
southwest Goldfields, west coastal Gascoyne and Eucla. Chance of gusty
thunderstorms near the coast between Dongara and Bremer Bay. Possible morning
frost over central Interior, northern Goldfields and far northeast Gascoyne.
Possible morning fog over the Eucla and adjacent South Interior. Windy over
southern parts of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Wednesday 11 June
Showers about the west and south coasts of the South West Land Division, and
Eucla coast. Possible morning frost over inland parts of the South West Land
Division, western Goldfields, far east Gascoyne and South Interior.
