Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge over southern parts of the State is bringing gusty southeasterly winds
during the morning periods.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure over southern parts of the State until Monday. A cold
front will begin to approach the far southwest of the State later Monday and
move through the South West Land Division on Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 6 June
Light showers possible along the south coast.
Forecast for Saturday 7 June
Light showers near the coast over southern districts. Possible morning fog and
frost over inland parts of the South West Land Division, apart from the Central
West district, fog and frost also over the southwest Goldfields.
Forecast for Sunday 8 June
Light showers possible near the south coast, over eastern parts of the South
West Land Division, Eucla, southeast Goldfields and southern parts of the South
Interior. Possible morning frost over inland southern parts of the South West
Land Division and southwest Goldfields.
Forecast for Monday 9 June
Possible showers east of Esperance, eastern Goldfields, Eucla and southern
South Interior. Showers developing about the South West Capes later in the day.
Possible morning fog and frost over inland southern parts of the South West
Land Division and southwest Goldfields. Possible morning fog over south coastal
districts.
Forecast for Tuesday 10 June
Showers throughout the South West Land Division. Possible showers over the
southwest Goldfields, west coastal Gascoyne and Eucla. Chance of thunderstorms
near the coast between Lancelin and Walpole. Possible morning frost over the
northern South Interior and far northeast Gascoyne. Possible morning fog over
the Eucla.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Saturday.
