Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A large cloud band lies over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and North Interior,
bringing unseasonal rain, and isolated heavy falls, clearing early Wednesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system is moving south of the State, reaching the Bight on
Tuesday. A cold front approaches during Thursday and crosses the west coast on
Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 26 May
Chance of a light isolated shower about the south coast. Areas of rain and
possible thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northeast Pilbara, and northern
Interior. Heavy falls possible over the southwest Kimberley, far northeast
Pilbara and Northwest parts of the Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 27 May
Chance of a shower over the southern coastal districts, east of Albany, the
central and eastern Pilbara and far northeast Gascoyne. Areas of rain over the
Kimberley and northern parts of the Interior. Possible thunderstorms over the
north and east Kimberley. Heavy falls possible over the southern Kimberley and
North Interior. Morning frost possible over inland parts of South West,
northern Great Southern, eastern Central Wheat Belt and southwest Goldfields
districts. Cool over the southern and western Kimberley, eastern Pilbara,
northern and central Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 28 May
Showers over the Kimberley and Interior. Chance of showers over the far west
Pilbara and Gascoyne coasts, the far northwest Central West coast and Eucla
coast. Morning frost possible over inland parts of South West, northern Great
Southern and southwest Goldfields districts.

Forecast for Thursday 29 May
Showers west of a line from Karratha to Meekatharra to Bremer Bay. Chance of a
shower over the northwest Kimberley and Eucla coasts.

Forecast for Friday 30 May
Showers west of a line from Port Hedland to Israelite Bay. Possible gusty
thunderstorms near the coast between Geraldton and Augusta.
