Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the north of the state. A weak cloud band will thicken
from later Sunday across the far northeast Pilbara, southern Kimberley and
North Interior. The cloud band will likely bring unseasonal rain, with
potentially isolated heavy falls, clearing during Wednesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge extends east over the Midwest coast, while a cold front
brushes past the southern districts on Sunday. A high pressure system will move
into the Bight on Monday and develop a ridge over southern WA.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 24 May
Showers possible over the southern and western coastal districts south of
Dongara, mainly about the coasts. Light showers possible over the southern
Kimberley and adjacent North Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 25 May
Showers and drizzle over the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields, and
southern Eucla, more frequent about the southern coastal districts. Rain
extending across the southwestern Kimberley, northeast Pilbara, and North
Interior. Morning frost possible over the northern parts of the Central Wheat
Belt, southern Gascoyne, adjacent Central West, northern Goldfields, and
southern Interior. Raised dust possible over the eastern Eucla and adjacent
southeast Interior. Windy over the southern coastal districts and adjacent
Goldfields.

Forecast for Monday 26 May
Possible showers over the southern coastal districts, adjacent Goldfields and
Great Southern. Areas of rain and possible thunderstorms over the Kimberley,
eastern and central Pilbara, and northern Interior. Heavy falls possible over
the southwest Kimberley. Morning frost possible over inland parts of the South
West Land Division and southwest Goldfields. Cool over the southwest Kimberley
and eastern Pilbara.

Forecast for Tuesday 27 May
Chance of a shower over the southern coastal districts and adjacent Goldfields.
Areas of rain and possible thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and
eastern Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, far northern Goldfields, and northern and
central Interior. Heavy falls possible over the southern Kimberley and North
Interior. Morning frost possible over inland parts of South West, northern
Great Southern, eastern Central Wheat Belt and southwest Goldfields districts.
Cool over southern and western Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, northern and central
Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 28 May
Showers over the Kimberley and Interior. Chance of showers over the eastern
Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, northeast Goldfields and southeast coastal parts
of the State. Morning frost possible over inland parts of South West, northern
Great Southern and southwest Goldfields districts.
