Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge to the south will continue to direct easterly winds across northern WA,
tending fresh and gusty during the mornings. A patchy cloud band may bring very
light rainfall to parts of the Kimberley and North Interior from Wednesday till
Friday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front is crossing the far southwest and will dissipate as it it
moves inland tonight. A new ridge of high pressure will quickly build across
southern WA on Tuesday. A moderate cold front will approach southwest WA later
Thursday and move across the South West Land Division on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 19 May
Chance of a light shower about the coast of South East Coastal district and
about the coast of Lower West district.

Forecast for Tuesday 20 May
Light showers possible along the coasts of Eucla and South East Coastal
district. Chance of morning frost through inland parts of South West and Great
Southern districts. Windy in the morning over the southern Kimberley, inland
Pilbara and North Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 21 May
Light shower possible over the Eucla and adjacent South Interior. Cloud
increasing with chance of a light shower over southeast Kimberley and adjacent
North Interior later in the day. Chance of morning frost through inland parts
of South West and Great Southern districts. Windy in the morning over the
southern Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Interior and northern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Thursday 22 May
Light showers over northern and eastern Kimberley, and adjacent North Interior.
Light shower developing south of a line Gingin to Albany during the day,
becoming frequent in the evening.

Forecast for Friday 23 May
Showers over the South West Land Division, southern Gascoyne, southern
Goldfields, western Eucla, northern and eastern Kimberley, more frequent over
the Lower West, South West and about the south coast west of Israelite Bay.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
