Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge to the south with strengthen during the week maintaining easterly winds
across the north.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front brushing the south coast tonight ahead of a ridge extending
over the west coast. The ridge will slide south of the state with a high
pressure centre forming in the Bight by mid-week. A west coast trough will
start to form later on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 4 May
Light showers southwest of a line Perth to Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Monday 5 May
Light showers over southwestern parts of the South West Land Division,
contracting to the western south coast in the afternoon. Chance of a shower
over the northern Kimberley. Morning fog possible over inland southwestern
parts of the South West Land Division, Eucla and adjacent southeast Goldfields.

Forecast for Tuesday 6 May
Light showers over southwestern parts of the South West Land Division and along
the coastal fringe of the South East Coastal district. Morning fog possible
over inland southern parts of the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields
and adjacent Eucla.

Forecast for Wednesday 7 May
Light showers, mostly in the morning, over the Eucla, southern Goldfields and
South East Coastal district. Morning fog possible over southern parts. Windy in
the morning over northern parts.

Forecast for Thursday 8 May
Mostly sunny over the state. Windy in the morning over northern parts.
